About a year ago I was sitting on this porch in Maine writing Evil People. It's about our obsession with singling out the wrongdoers in our society, as if the whole world was just made up of "good people" and "evil people".

Side two to this single is called Henry Hotel and it's a commentary on the strung out folks who resemble the walking dead living down on 6th and Jessie in San Francisco near my practice space.

I recorded Evil People and Henry Hotel simply and cheaply, micing the drums with one mic and playing them myself, and then adding all the other tracks over the top. These songs feature Laura West on backup vocals and Ryan Myers on lead guitar on Evil People.
